Have you guys ever heard about "The Martian" you know Matt Damon got stranded on Mars? Yeah, we actually went there to help him, lol okay that was lame.
Okay soo, Julia took turn by driving all of us a bit more to get to Wadi Rum, where we spent two nights there. The scenes are amazing and I never felt the experience before although I've been there several times. We arrived there almost at dusk so there was nothing much to do. First, we stop by Mr Atallah al-Balwi. He is the one who manages The Bedouin lifestyle camp. Accompanied by his brother, Fayez, they brought us from their home after waiting half an hour. The trail is kinda tricky unless you're familiar with the environment as there are no lights nor signboards to guide you.
On the first night, we spent the time there for chilling a bit after driving from Petra to here. We had our dinner, chicken rice with salads. The unique part is, the chicken was cooked in a deep hole/buried in the sand. Then after finish the dinner we head out for a short walk, and then we stayed for stargazing. I swear to god by that time, I felt like sooo sooooo damn lucky for having this kind of chance. Besides, some of my friends know something about the stars and the universe. They shared the knowledge and I felt like a little boy who was so amazed by the story and facts.(no shit here )

So here, the chickens are buried here in a sand stove maybe?

and tadaaa ! ready to eat
The next day, we had our trip in the desert with a pickup truck, a classic one! Fayez is our driver, storyteller and also a good host! We were lucky to have him around as he tirelessly explaining for every question that we had in mind. Among the famous story in Wadi Rum is "Jumping Ali" and the story about Lawrence of Arabia. We visited Lawrence's old camp and his site where he spent his time there organising the Arabian forces against The Ottoman at that time.

This is where Fayez was telling us the story of "Jumping Ali"

*We all had the chance to drive in desert which is super awesome !!
So, at the end of the day, we spent our time rest a bit in the middle of the desert, which is middle of nowhere and there's a space between the mountain where you can go inside and have a chill air to chill up your trip! Well most of us just sat back and relax, playing card while I slept for a while lol.
