There's saying which goes like...
Au Japon, ils ont mont fuji, Au France ils ont mont blanc, Au Belgique ils ont barraque friture!
"In Japan,they have Mount Fuji,
In France,they have Mont Blanc,
In Belgium, they have uhh.. barraque friture!"
Okay okay you really need to go to Belgium first in order to understand this hehe
Of course yea I'm talking about Belgium/Belgique/Belgien. No shit guys this country, has 3 official languages and none of them is called "Belgian".Instead they're called Dutch,French and German. Well yeah it depends on the region of course.
So this trip was a short and quick trip. Apparently my friend saw my FB post when I was in France and he invited me over. It was a miracle because it wasn't in my plan yet it happened. No times delayed as I quickly purchased a train ticket from Paris to Belgium. Things was bit hectic coz I didn't buy another ticket until in the very last minute hehe. Nevertheless, I still made my way from Bruxelles to Charleroi.
Around 2300 I arrived in Charleroi and met Abdelhakim there,we walked for a while to his place.I tell you all something,so Abdelhakim was born in Belgium, but his family lived in Brasil before and they’re Lebanese descendants, whom I met in Jordan and he married to a Palestinian afterwards. I don't really know how to explain this but damn he speaks French,Portuguese,English and Arabic. That's awesome right?
Once we arrived we got...THESE!

Ya Allahhhhh to be honest I miss these!
But then his bro and a friend came(Mohammed),we all talked, had some conversation. No shit his bro is lit with memes lol.
Well Mohammed is another story, his parents are from Algeria, they're Kabyle people and speak Amazigh. Kabyle people originally from Algeria but still you can find them in France and Belgium as well. Some of the famous Kabyle are Zinedine Zidane,Karim Benzema and Samir Nasri.
MOVE ON!
Guess what? Abdelhakim told me we could try something cool. I had no idea what it was. Thanks to Mohammed he got a car so he drove us to....

This is like holy place man, they serve fries with crazy variation of sauces -ROBERT LA FRITE-
bunch of people wanted to have the frite ,waiting for them..
I had no idea what are they talking about haha
The thing is they're open until late night so you don't have to be worry about it

Look how happy we were with the fries!

Damn man,I after this moment,I think I could give this instead a bouquet of flower to anyone that I like HAHA.
This one fries with Tomagrec sauce, google it!
We headed back to his place and gotta be ready for the next morning. The thing is I had to go to Amsterdam for a football match.I know it sounds crazy but pfff I did it. Before I left the place. Abdelhakim and I went for a simple waffle.
Okay long story short I made my journey to Amsterdam, played the match and headed back to Bruxelles, there Abdelhakim and Mohammed picked me up from Gare du Midi station and we went for lunch before exploring the place.
Okay before we got to the lunch place,we stopped at a Brasilian mini store,he got me an Açaí ice cream and Guaraná flavoured drink. I gladly enjoyed them and tbh it was cool to discover something new for me!
Abdelhakim in action haha

Move on,we had our lunch and this time we headed to Arcade du Cinquantenaire! This big monumental triple arch was planned by Leopold II of Belgium and the construction started in Jan 1905 and finished in the same year September 1905.

Such an awesome view!

Lovely space
Then, we went to L’Atomium! It's a landmark in Belgium which was constructed for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair
Sadly my phone died so I couldn't take any good pic.

Ah sorry shit quality haha

So this is the view from below, sadly it was closed by that time we arrived.
Okay we're almost done here actually hehe.Next time we did was...hunting the food! YEAH YOU HEARD ME! FOOD!
Pizza Royale was the place specifically picked by Abdelhakim and Mohammed. AGAIN I WAS SUPER HAPPY WITH THE FOOD!
so we moved quickly to the place
on the road..
AND we got there!
Look at the food!

Gratin de pâtes
I got so damn content with the food and thanks to both of them !
Before we finish, there's one more place left to discover.
THE GRAND PLACE. yes it's grand enough to put Grand in it lol.
I give you guys description taken from UNESCO website
"La Grand-Place in Brussels is a remarkably homogeneous body of public and private buildings, dating mainly from the late 17th century. The architecture provides a vivid illustration of the level of social and cultural life of the period in this important political and commercial centre."

It was a great time that I had with you Abdelhakim,Mohammed. I hope we can see each other again next time. MERCI BRO!
