Food eh ? What kind of food? Well apparently if your food sense is good enough(does it exist?).We actually can see a lot of foods from different culture here in Amman!
Asian foods? We have Chinese,Korean,Japanese,Thai,Indian and Malaysian restaurants. But this time we gonna talk only about Yemeni and Indian food.Well apparently last month I had chance to try the food based on one of my friends suggestion. Thanks to Mustafa Abdo(wohoo!) who was in charge organising this thing. To be honest it wasn't big gathering but the special thing is where you can meet your friends and talk about their experiece.
To begin with,I came with with awesome people that I met here in Amman. Nariman was my team leader in Aiesec. While I met Mustafa by Jasmine(miss you JASS!). Caro and Carlie I met them while we had gathering at The Shams Community. Christina,Yasser and Francisco are currently working in Aiesec in Jordan now.
Okay,so I arrived at the restaurant by around 1930-2000 but nvm with the time as we were all chillin by that time haha

Not a very good pic since I accidentally deleted all of them :(
This one at the Abdullah Ghosheh St.
Leave the deal to the pro as we entrusted Mustafa with ordering the food! HAHA so he ordered us these:
فحسة (Yemeni stew, made of meat cutlet and meat broth) سلتة (mixture of chillies, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs) سحاوّق بالجبن (no idea how to explain this haha) بيض بالجبن (omelette with cheese) فول بالبيض (beans with cheese) شايّ عدني (Adne Tea) خبز ملوّح (yemeni bread, big bread)
Again I'm terribly sorry as I lost most of the pics but I do whatever I can to give clear view lol. We didn't waste much time as soon as the food arrived we started working on it.Yummy and wow these foods are amazing!

The big bread and its co (Smile for the food!)
Oh yeah we ordered another several round of Adne Tea because the taste was super good! You guys definitely should try it!

Everyone did a great job finishing the foods on the table.KUDOS!
Thanks to Nariman for being our photographer haha
She's super shy girl so no pic of her here.
All in all,the price wasn't so expensive, the foods were great. The restaurant environment also cool. The staffs are friendly and hell yeah it was lit.
Make sure if you're in Amman, drop by the restaurant to try Yemeni Foods and I'm pretty sure you will not regret it.

Indian food is extremely good. With their good combination of herbs and spices really make the people love the foods so much!
I've been living here almost 3 years and apparently there is another good Indian restaurant! Jammu Kashmir. But first let me talk about my number one Indian restaurant here in Amman.

This is the old look but recently they had new renovation and I will update them soon enough.
Located in Yajouz Street. This place is called Chapatti!
I used come here with my fellow Malaysian friends, especially Duan,Sya'bil and Syahmi. Recently two of them graduated from the university and apparently I also busy with uni therefore little free prevent me to visit this place. But sometime I will come here for instance when there are new volunteer with Aiesec.I will recommend them this place.Eike and Charlotte amongs the lucky people who had the chance to eat here !

Throwback where Eike and Danny were here in February
Boys night out lool

Oh yeah this is what I had when I went to the restaurant with Eike,we ordered several rounds of poori (lol) and some other butter chicken and it was damn dope! haha

Look at the smile! Charlotte apparently one of the spicy food fans! Bravo!

You can look at the menu, the restaurant is flexible as it also serves vegetarian food. So if you're vegetarian, you can come and enjoy the foods here! (Danny you should get back to Jordan) My favourite is spicy butter chicken with the level of super spicy. No idea why but it just taste so damn good with it

Variable choices and you're free to pick whatever you want. and BAM! it's all done and taste so damn good.
This time Mustafa suggested Jammu Kashmir. It was superb.I gotta say this restaurant got the same level with the Chapatti. Especially with their Chicken Masala. How do I describe this ? I was so buzzin with the foods here and definitely will come here again. Like always,we handed the ordering task to Mustafa and he got us -Chicken Masala, Butter chicken, Potato curry sauce, Naan and Poori. I'm not a big fans of Naan but that night,no kidding,Naan was so lit and I think all of us actually enjoyed the food.
*forgot to take pics of the foods though,so sorry haha

Everyone was satisfied with the foods, there were more but they left earlier. The most important things is,everyone went home full! So if you're wondering where to eat Indian foods, you can either come to Chapatti or Jammu Kashmir.I know there are other restaurant out there but I will check them out next time.
So if you guys fancy some scran, make sure to pay them a visit!
