Pourquoi surnomme-t-on Paris la Ville lumière ?

It's actually because of....
Okay, I'm gonna cut it off haha I actually have no idea how to speak French but hey it would have been so cool if I did! Oh btw the title's mean is The City of Light. Well Paris has a lot of nicknames; City of Love or Paname for example. But about the title,it would rather call by "la Ville Lumière",
Btw it's because Paris is a city where it is an intellectual centre and amongst the first city equipped with the electricity (with sparking Eiffel Tower)
This may lead to this kind of nickname. (let me know if I'm wrong)
And this time I travelled to France,Belgium and once gain to The Netherlands. I really enjoyed this winter time as I just chill most of the time without worrying about the heat and sweat haha. But let's focus first on Paris!
As I'm writing this, I'm listening to Aicha, a masterpiece from Cheb Khaled (LOL) haha no idea what he says but Aicha, Aicha, écoute-moi is the only line that I know! A big cup of hot tea also kinda help me writing this article though :) It's 0113 now and I can't sleep,so let's do this! oh wait let me take some food with me as well. ok let's gooo
Simple breakfast on the plane,I really like the yoghurt with honey though!
To begin with,I had my flight around 0300 and it was crazy, full of people and I had to queued looooong before my turn. Guess what? I made a new friend as well. Patricia! She's from Spain and was there for couple of day travelling around! All the best Patricia enjoy your home! Damn, she's been to Malaysia and we talked about food and some other things i.e; language and culture! Was a good conversation. We actually had the same flight to Athena, and then I had to switched to Paris. And after several hours, I arrived in Paris at CDG airport around 0800 and began my journey to... nearest Macdonalds. Oi don't judge, I was so damn hungry okay. Also cheers to Marah for giving me suggestion and idea what to do here as I had to wait for my friend finish her task! But it was all good let see.
Oh yeah I was lucky because someone actually helped me to get from the airport to the city centre! Thanks Pierre,he traveled from Alaska to Panama. THAT'S A BIG WOW LIKE WTF 8 F MONTH MAN! AWESOME!
Those who got beard are brothers - Legendary Kryptonite Proverb (JK-LOL)
And he was gonna surprise his family after long period of time!
Cheers Pierre!
Actually this time I was gonna meet someone! SOOOO HAPPY that I actually made my way from Amman to Paris ! My friend, Kenza, she lives and works there! So damn cool to have friend like this! You actually gonna spend a bit time to admire people like this. Okay so I met her in Jordan. She spent her time in JO for a couple of days. I think she visited her friend,Meryem who worked in AIESEC. So yeahh why not aight.
Back to the main thing,I continued my experience first to Musée du Louvre! Don't ask me how to pronounce it,I also had trouble to say it correctly at first haha.
The vid I took there
Forgive me as I'm not really good at posing for pic haha
Actually these Glasses Pyramid was designed by Chinese-American Architect and they're located in the main courtyard; Cour Napoléon
The compound outside the museum
TRIVIA : Musée du Louvre is The Biggest Museum in the World
So this place actually was constructed in the palace compound. Actually it was a medieval fortress but was built into a palace soon after. My trip in Paris first of all based on mmmmm. Oh yeah I looked for what kind of food that I can have though, I'm not a picky eater I kinda eat whatever suits me haha. Outside this place we have Crepe! Oh yeah I kinda forgot to take the pic of it but it was awesome!
I wasted no time, I jumped into bus and headed straight to Tour Eiffel! This gigantic tower was erected by a French engineer, Mr. Gustave Eiffel.

TRIVIA : TOUR EIFFEL was the TALLEST TOWER from 1889 to 1930

Oh yeahh I walked down by the bridge and headed there. Took me for a while with zillions of people though haha

To be honest, when I was a kid, I thought this tower is used for defence hahaha (TESLA TOWER POWERED BY TESLA TROOPER)(GOOGLE IT HAHA)

Back to the story, okay so by this time the weather bit crazy, windy and rainy but it was all good for me. My jacket really protected me from this kind of crap.

So, there were a lot of people here and waffle trucks haha

The vid near the compound

It was awesome, truly awesome. I actually worked my way here and thousands kilometres away from my home country and then gained some money and travelled here. This is just amazing. Believe in yourself, work on your dream and don't forget to eat !

I actually don't have better pic than this one but yeah fair enough ouai?

thanks to a random Frenchman, he helped me for this pic haha

Before the weather got crazier,I walked away but had to turn back,my mom asked me to take a selfie with the Eiffel hahaha it was crazy but I'm not gonna risk my dignity by putting the selfie here hahhaha

It was the time for me to find some food to eat.I didn't actually know where to eat or find good place as I didn't have the data nor wifi around me. EASY. Macdonalds was the answer! BAM! BIG POUND OF BIG MAC haha

It kept me full for the rest of evening and enough for me to wait for my friend Kenza to finish her work ! wehoo!

Around 1830 I finally met her for the first time since she left Jordan!! so happy and she exactly look the same!! lovely aight! okay so we talked for a while and started to move over the town as she got times. This is a real business,I walked a lot,we walked a lot and I survived it.

First stop! Arc de Triomphe ! This monument was ordered by Napoléon Bonaparte, the French Emperor to be built in 1806.Sounds cool right? Let's give a look haha

Not the fanciest smile ever but it's the building behind me! Thanks to Kenza for this pic!

I'll give you a bit info about this monument. When La Grande Armée had conquered most of Europe and was then considered invincible. And after his Austerlitz victory in 1805, Napoleon said to his soldiers : "You will return home through Arc de Triomphe"

Next stop! Palais Garnier or Opéra Garnier. DAMN this majestic building is incredibly beautiful and stunning! Lemme give you guys a bit info about this building. Do you guys know or ever heard about The Phantom of the Opera?

Written by Gaston Leroux ? Yesss it was inspired ,like partly of the real event in 19th century and added with legendary tale whey they discovered a ballerina's skeleton being unearthed! haha cool ouai?

Look at this super beautiful building, holy shit man we would never find something like this in the place I live now hahaha.

Oh Yeah Kenza is in the picture with her little beanie! :)

Move on! Next stop was La Comédie-Française. This place is used for play,or theatre . It is the only state theatre to have its own troupe of actors!

If you look closely, you'll see the words "Comédie-Française" so yeah the building itself already attractive enough eh.

TRIVIA : This place officially was established by Louis XIV in 1680

Ahhh as I'm writing this, Max Giesinger's song kicked in. Really niceee

"So weit gekommen und so viel gesehen

So viel passiert dass wir nicht verstehen

Ich weiß es nicht doch ich frag es mich schon

Wie hast du mich gefunden?

Einer von 80 Millionen"

Open YouTube and sing it hahaha ( Max Giesinger - 80 Millionen)

Try it guys. It's really a good song haha. My writing style depends on the song so yeah I think I can keep going for more and more for now with cool and chill songs! Let's go! Again that night, she brought me to the Louvre to see the place, the view is lovely with light! I was excited and took several pic!

This pic I took inside the corridor before heading to the Pyramids.

yeay that's her! haha maaa a7laaa !

oh yeah I did take mine as well! Thanks to Kenza for being awesome photographer !

What's next ? well we went to Académie française de Paris. It is an institution that preserve and decide matters regarding French language. So that means anything involve with regulations of French spelling, grammar and as well as literature! Sounds awesome aight?

Académie française de Paris from the bridge in front of it

Let's rock with a selfie ! Because why not :D

Okay so almost over but not yet,not really....

HAHA we walked down the bridge connecting the Academie and the other side and talked about things; lifestyle, experience and food. Oh yeah I mean I gave my attention, full attention for food part (of course I also gave attention to other topic as well duhh) . IDK why but daaaamn the food part was lit and I miss food sooo much at that time. She likes mashawi chicken. I don't really know the exact word in English. Grilled ? Grilled Chicken with Spices? haha I don't know but bottom line is I was really really happy about it.

Long before realising that we talked a lot,we arrived at the Notre-Dame de Paris. Yes this gothic-style cathedral. Kenza told me that this cathedral portals are not entirely symmetrical. So you can see actually it's not the same

TRIVIA: The Notre Dame Cathedral is the most popular monument in Paris and in all of France, beating even the Eiffel Tower.

So you can see here the portals and the statues above it. The whole squad is there guys.Complete the pic haha

By the way,Notre Dame Cathedral is properly called Notre-Dame de Paris (Our Lady of Paris). See,it's the trick. You can actually say it in fancier way with French haha good lord!

While we walked from the Academie to Notre Dame,Kenza told me that we could try Ice Cream before we got back home. WHY NOT? WHY NOTT? Yes we headed to a place there. It's called AMORINO,not really that far from the Cathedral so yeah. DAMN the place is dope and the ice cream so "délicieux, lekker and krass" oh yeah these words are mixture between French,Dutch and German hahaha you can use it when you find a good yummy snacks or foods!

You actually can have as many flavour as you want,no limit!

Awesome Amorino!

Dudesss look at the ice cream with the petal style! akhh ganz toll!

My reaction and face might be weird but I couldn't care less! Pourquoi?

I have a big freaking magical ice cream in my hand hahaha

But then after bought the Eis,we hopped into a bus and headed back! Took a while and enough for me to finish all the eis! yumm I was so happy with the ice cream! I couldn't ask for more as there was another food! HARERA! haha I couldn't say no to food and yessss why not. Kenza you're awesome!!

But hey don't just google it,you will get another answer haha

Guys, come on not this "Harera" haha this is "Herrera" looool

What a cute bowl! Mashalah haha I love this soup and it really made me full and happy! I asked her how she made this but there were too many things for me to remember in a single time. HAHA the point is, I like the food and I may eventually look for this kind of cuisine soon. :D

Oh yeah while we were eating, she taught me several words and phrases in French. It was hard but I managed to get the basic things so yeah.

For example I learned easiest way to order food

"Je voudrais avoir un poulet"

Poulet is chicken so yeah you just change the word based on your preference.

Voilà! I learned something here. She also told me several Moroccan words and they were sooo different than Levantine Arabic, the one I use here in Jordania.

For example:

Kef halak : ki dayer

lessa : mazal

samosa : briwate

haha Ya Allah what is this? it's totally different but surely interesting to know and learn.

In the end . I had good trip here in Paris and so happy.Would be great and lovely if i ever get another chance to be here and try the food! (Kenza don't forget the food ) haha. Next destination? Lyon!

As my trip in Paris is done,so I had to tick Kenza on the list, Inschalah I see you again soon next time! All the best for your career and live your life happily and to the fullest!

Inschalah I will update another article about Lyon as soon as I get time from uni! Wish me luck and I hope you guys enjoy my story here! Au Revoir!
